Sunday Shenanigans!

Szia! Jenna and Becca here!

Sorry for the later post, the wifi at the hotel is working intermittently! Our first weekend in Budapest is over, and I think we could all say that it was definitely a success! Our Sunday was jam packed with activities. A group of us started the day at the Alibi Café in Pest. Most of us had breakfast foods other than toast and jam for the first time since we arrived. Next Joe, Nick R, Natalie, Rachel, Becca, and I decided to check out Allé, a cool mall in Budapest. We spent a couple hours wandering around the mall, our favorite store ended up being ironically “The New Yorker”. We got some awesome new shirts, and then we were ready to hit the Szechenyi bath.

We arrived at the bath and rented out a changing room, we had a slight mishap with a French couple who accidently went into our cabin, but Natalie used her French skills to diffuse the situation. We ended up running into another group of Oles at the bath, which was unexpected, but great. We spent time in the two large outdoor baths, the mineral pools, and the sauna. It was a really cool experience. We left the baths to head back to Professors Guest House to start on our homework, but first a group of us ventured out to eat Púder a ruin pub in Pest. We ended the night working on a homework assignment.
Our first week here has been a blast and we can’t wait for the shenanigans to continue!
